The polls are in

The results are in. Although they lost one seat, the seven remaining seats were enough to win the election.

The only problem is that the coalition of DDB and CDA now has 12 seats out of 25, because of the two-seat loss of the CDA. 12 out of 25 is not a majority, so they’re going to have to look for another coalition partner, which might jeopardize some plans and policies.

But hey, it could have been worse, it’s just a sour note that they’re one seat short of a majority. They still won, however, which means they will lead the coalition negotiations.

Congrats to Democratisch Dorpsbelang! And my dad, for the election and his birthday!
